Minister Lorna Y Washington accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior on March 7, 1992 and immediately began serving in evangelism; witnessing on the streets of Miami, Florida. She is a 1981 Graduate of Miami Northwestern High and 2003 Graduate of Barry University, Miami Florida. On January 1, 1994 she joined New Vision For Christ Ministries under the leadership of Rev. Micheal D. Screen where she served in various capacities. Her key roles were Director of Public Relations, Director of Street Evangelism and Pastor's Aide Ministry.
In July 2000, she relocated to Fort Myers, FL, where Minister Washington joined Mt Hermon Ministries under the leadership of Apostle William L. Glover. She received her ministerial training and development at the Mt Hermon Bible Institute and Leadership Academy. Minister Washington was ordained as a Licensed Minister on February 2, 2003. She served in various capacities; Minister, Director of Singles Ministries, Director of New Membership, Women's Ministry Leadership Team Member and Minister/Elder Liaison.
Her career has span over the past 25 years working in management working for major corporations. In 2008, she founded Affordable Business Creative Solutions Inc, a fashion jewelry and accessories direct sales marketing business that host private parties. Currently she works for The News-Press Media Group, a Gannett Company in Ft Myers, FL as a Key Account Executive. Her community involvement includes Board Member of Healthy Start of Southwest Florida, Board President of Accelerated Learning Solutions, Treasurer of Dunbar Festival Committee. Minister Washington is the Founder of New Beginnings For Christ Ministries and Bishop E I Johnson, Senior Pastor/Founder of New Life Worship Center in Fort Myers, FL serves as her spiritual father and covering.
A motivational preacher, speaker and teacher with over 17 years experience in Leadership Training and Development, Ministry of Helps, Women & Youth Ministry. She challenges us to be Champions For Life. Her unique approach to interpreting biblical principles has encouraged many to overcome today’s challenges. She has preached locally and in the African countries of Zambia, Zimbabwe and Cameroun where she has traveled with GloveMinistries International under the leadership of Apostle William L Glover.
